About Me
But first, don't forget to actually live your life!
As I reflect back on my life so far the Trace Adkins song "You're gonna miss this" comes to mind. In modern life, we are all in such a rush to do everything. Whether we are on our way to the next class, the next meeting, or the next calendar event we never stop to just look around. I can think of so many pivotal moments in my life that I didn't even stop to enjoy the moment or take a picture of, but here are a few of those moments that someone thought about doing just that. Whether it is questionable elevator rides with my classmates, snowboarding in the Alps with my best friend, exploring an island paradise with some of the best people I've ever known, or hanging out with my fur children and loves of my life Jim and Addy, these are truly some great memories. I want so many things in life, but above all else when I'm on my deathbed I don't want my last thought to be, man I wish I did that thing. So I choose to live my life to the fullest, surrounded by my friends and family, because life is just too short of a gift to waste.
"The weird thing is, now I'm exactly where I want to be. I've got my dream job at Cornell, and I'm still just thinking about my old pals. Only now they're the ones I made here."
"I wish there was a way to know you're in 'the good old days', before you've actually left them."
